Initial Visit: Your
first dental appointment will consist of a thorough examination
and diagnosis of the oral tissues. Diagnostic tools such as radiographs,
study models, or photographs may be utilized to complete the diagnosis
of your individual oral health. It is very important to all of us
that we clarify any questions you may have concerning your oral
heath. If further treatment is required, all available options will
be presented for your complete understanding.
In keeping with our philosophy, advanced tooth-colored bonding materials
are used to restore teeth in order to provide support to the remaining
tooth, while enhancing your smile esthetics. Silver filling material
is not used in our office.
Regular Visits: We believe in the benefits of regular preventative
care, and encourage all of our patients to return for periodic care
visits. We encourage you to schedule your next preventative visit
when leaving our office. We will contact you one to two days before
your next visit.
At the time of your visit, please advise the receptionist or dental
assistant of any change in your overall health, any medications
you are taking, as well as any address, telephone number, employment,
or insurance changes.
Emergency Care: We recognize that emergency situations do arise
and we will do our best to respond to you as quickly as possible.
If an emergency arises during normal office hours, please call the
office as early in the day as possible. We reserve special times
for patients with emergency needs, and you will be seen as quickly
as possible.
Appointment Times: Dental care is
scheduled for our patients by appointment. We value the commitment
you have made to your dental health by pre-selecting an appointment
time. We respect your time and make every effort to remain on schedule,
and ask that you extend the same courtesy. If you are unable to
keep an appointment, please notify the office immediately. We appreciate
at least 48 hours notice so that this time may be dedicated to other
patients. |
